Pandemic Scapegoating: How the Unvaccinated Became the Unjust Target of Blame
A new study reveals how political bias, not science, turned the unvaccinated into scapegoats during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They were called selfish, dangerous, even murderous. Their choices were labeled as ignorant, reckless, a threat to public health. But now, emerging research suggests that those who declined the COVID-19 vaccines may have been unfairly scapegoated for the pandemic’s toll. A new study reveals how this discrimination was fueled by political polarization and inflated risk perceptions rather than science.
When the COVID-19 vaccines were first introduced, they were hailed by many as the key to ending the pandemic. Public health messaging strongly encouraged vaccination, framing it as a moral and civic duty.1 This narrative left little room for hesitancy or dissent. Those who remained unvaccinated, whether due to medical concerns, personal beliefs, or mistrust in the pharmaceutical industry, often found themselves on the receiving end of intense social condemnation.2
A new study published in the Journal of Medical Ethics titled, Blaming the unvaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic: the roles of political ideology and risk perceptions in the USA, suggests that this condemnation crossed the line into unjustified scapegoating and discrimination.3 The research, led by psychologist Maja Graso, examined public attitudes towards unvaccinated individuals using fictitious scenarios. Participants were presented with characters of varying COVID-19 risk profiles based on age and health status, with their vaccination status manipulated.
Across multiple experiments with over 1,000 total participants, the researchers found that people consistently judged the unvaccinated characters more harshly. Compared to their vaccinated counterparts, the unvaccinated were seen as more blameworthy for issues like hospital strain, prolonged restrictions, and pandemic deaths–regardless of their personal COVID risk or whether they had already recovered from the virus. In other words, vaccination status was treated as a marker of social responsibility, overriding other medically relevant factors.
Interestingly, this scapegoating effect was largely driven by participants’ political leanings. Those who identified as more liberal were significantly more likely to attribute blame to the unvaccinated, whereas conservatives showed little difference in their judgments of unvaccinated versus vaccinated individuals. State Supreme Court found that being vaccinated ‘does not’ stop the spread of COVID-19
A New York state Supreme Court ordered all New York City employees who were fired for not being vaccinated to be reinstated with back pay.
The court found Monday that “being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19.” New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed earlier this year that his administration would not rehire employees who had been fired over their vaccination status.
NYC fired roughly 1,700 employees for being unvaccinated earlier this year after the city adopted a vaccine mandate under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.

New Report Adds to Evidence That Cellphone Radiation May Cause Brain Cancer
South Korean researchers — who analyzed 24 studies and published their report on Oct. 10 in Environmental Health — found significantly higher risks for malignant brain tumors, meningioma and glioma on the side of the head where cellphones were held.
Peer-reviewed studies showing a link between brain cancer and cellphone radiation are piling up — contradicting a recent World Health Organization (WHO)-led study that claimed there’s no evidence of a link.
South Korean researchers — who analyzed 24 studies and published their report on Oct. 10 in Environmental Health — found significantly higher risks for malignant brain tumors, meningioma and glioma on the side of the head where cellphones were held.
They also found heavy, long-term cellphone use was linked to an increased risk of glioma.
The South Korean study brings the number of meta-analyses published since 2016 linking cellphone radiation to an increased risk of brain cancer to seven, wrote Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D., on his website.
Moskowitz — who directs the Center for Family and Community Health at the University of California, Berkeley — has conducted and disseminated research on wireless technology and public health since 2009.
“These seven peer-reviewed meta-analytic studies contradict the conclusion of the recent WHO systematic review,” he said.
“Seven studies is a lot and we anticipate more in the future,” Miriam Eckenfels-Garcia, director of Children’s Health Defense’s (CHD) Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) & Wireless program, told The Defender.
Eckenfels-Garcia said:
“We encourage the WHO to revise its stance, unlikely as this may be. It’s more likely that the WHOand other captured agencies will label non-industry friendly science as misinformation, even if this puts the public further in danger.”
Moskowitz said there’s evidence that the WHO picked industry-biased researchers to conduct its review.

More than 100,000 people are on waiting lists for organs, most for kidneys, and 17 are estimated to die every day because the number of available organs hasn’t been able to keep pace with the demand.

WHY? And why did the AG in Tennessee have to sue to stop criminal migrants from being released into his state! WTF is happening?

Charges dropped against 50 Freedom Convoy-inspired truckers
(LifeSiteNews) –– Some 50 truckers who protested COVID mandates by participating in the 2022 Freedom Convoy-inspired blockade protests at the Canadian-U.S. border with have seen their tickets dropped, the freedom-orientated legal group representing them has said.
In a press release, The Democracy Fund (TDF) announced that in partnership with Williamson Law (WL) it was able to successfully “defend against tickets” issued under Canada’s Use of Highway and Rules of the Road Regulation and other regulatory statutes, for some 50 or so truckers who protested at the Coutts, Alberta border with the U.S. State of Montana in 2022.
“WL lawyers requested disclosure and held multiple discussions with the Crown, resulting in the withdrawal of tickets for all but 11 cases,” noted TDF.
As for the remaining 11 cases, the Crown was “determined to proceed” with them, so TDF with WL’s help “sought subpoenas for the Alberta Premier’s Office, Alberta Sheriffs, Edmonton Police Service, Criminal Intelligence Service Alberta (CISA), and Provincial Security and Intelligence Office (PSIO) to give evidence in respect of disclosure issues.”
TDF observed that because of seeking the subpoenas, along with additional “discussions” with the defense counsel, it was able to “resolve” the 11 remaining tickets for only “$1 each.”
“As a result, no client was convicted at trial and all matters were successfully resolved,” noted TDF.
Lawyer Chad Williamson of WL reacted to the results saying it “represents an outstanding victory for civil liberty clients of The Democracy Fund.”
“The Government attempted to bring charges against individuals and companies who allegedly had equipment parked on and near the highway during the Coutts Freedom Convoy protest. In the face of a robust and steadfast defence, we were successful in having close to 50 charges withdrawn immediately,” he said. Read more…

Tigers vs tribals: Why are thousands of villagers up in arms against endangered species?
India’s tiger conservation authority has ordered the eviction of 64,000 tribal families from their land to make way for reserves
Prioritizing the conservation of tigers over the rights of tribal and forest-dwelling communities in India, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) earlier this year ordered the relocation of over 64,000 families in 19 of the country’s ‘tiger states’.
This has sparked a nationwide debate between the NTCA and activists working on tribal rights in India, as it violates several laws, including the Wildlife Protection Act (WLPA) and Forest Rights Act, 2006 (FRA), that aim to undo the historical injustice meted out to indigenous people.
India has 3,682 tigers, according to the last census, which represents 75% of the worldwide tiger population; globally it is an endangered species. This more than met the target of doubling the tiger population (1,411 in 2006) set by the St. Petersburg Tiger conservation declaration in 2010.
The order issued in June to 19 tiger states, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Rajasthan and Karnataka, which have large tribal populations, asked the states’ chief wildlife wardens to evict approximately 591 villages, home to 64,801 families, from these areas, citing slow progress and the perceived threat to tiger conservation. According to right activists, the move places the preservation of tigers over the welfare and rights of tribal communities in violation of other laws.
In response, conservationists and tribal rights activists wrote to Bhupendra Yadav, the union minister for environment, forests and climate change, on September 5, protesting against the order. Another letter on September 9 also criticized the NTCA order. Signatories said they were appalled at the NTCA step directing the relocation of forest-dependent communities, accusing it of “exhibiting a complete lack of compliance with the laws and the spirit of conservation.”
“NTCA action puts pressure on the state governments to relocate communities in violation of WLPA and FRA, thereby forcing the State governments to commit illegalities,” the September 5 letter read. World hit by internet blackouts after ANOTHER Boeing failure
A Boeing satellite suffered an ‘anomaly’ that caused it to spontaneously explode in orbit, resulting in worldwide internet and communication blackouts.
In yet another blow to the aerospace company, the nearly 15,000 pound satellite – iS-33e – broke up into more than 50 pieces on Monday.
The orbiter was operated by the international satellite services provider Intelsat, which provides communications services to a variety of customers spanning nearly 150 countries.
Intelsat confirmed the ‘total loss’ of the satellite, which resulted in a ‘loss of power and service’ for customers in Europe, Africa and parts of the Asia-Pacific region.
This latest Boeing blunder comes as the company reports that it lost $6 billion in the third quarter, bringing total losses to nearly $8 billion for the current year.
It follows a year of scandals that included a failed space mission that left two astronauts stranded on the ISS and a crippling workers’ strike.
And in July, Boeing also plead guilty to a criminal fraud conspiracy charge and was fined $243.6 million after breaching a 2021 deferred prosecution deal. Read more…
